SENIOR UX DESIGNER
We are looking for a Senior User Experience Designer, who wants to join uns in improving the worlds of Renewable Energy, Digital Healthcare and more.

This is the perfect role for an inquisitive, creative mind with a natural gift for solving visual complexity with hierarchy, space, proportion and colour.
​
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will have the opportunity to work on different challenges within the Renewable Energy, Digital Healthcare, and Circular Waste Management sectors.
​​

at studiomem, designers participate deeply in generating insights through user research: you will conceive, lead and conduct user research sprints, interviews, and surveys to gain deeper insights into the needs, motivations, and behaviors of our users.

Translate product strategies and user research into journeys that form the backbone of the entire customer experience and develop them into design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs. You will leverage your expertise in user-centered design principles to create intuitive and seamless user interfaces.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to renewable energy, digital healthcare, and circular waste management. You will be at the forefront of innovation, driving creative and sustainable solutions.

Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to continually improve and iterate on designs. Your insights will shape the development process and ensure the final product meets the needs of the users.

Work closely with our clients developers to ensure seamless implementation of your designs and maintain design integrity throughout the development process. You will collaborate effectively with the technical team to bring your designs to life.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise, helping to shape the next generation of UX designers.

WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT​
-
Translate concepts and wireframes into strong clear visuals that lead to intuitive user experiences.

Facilitate clients’ product visions by researching, conceiving, sketching, ideating, and mocking up interfaces for digital products.

Define cross-platforms design systems with typography, iconography, colour, grid, and design components.
-
Present rough drafts to product managers and/or key stakeholders to gain approval
-
Develop interactive prototypes and models to use in various products to validate user understanding
-
Brainstorm new ideas, layouts and graphics
-
Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments

WHAT YOU BRING
-
BSc degree in Graphic or Multimedia Design, Visual Arts or a similar, relevant qualification
-
Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
-
Portfolio of related works (e.g. logos, animations and graphics) demonstrating talent, skill and previous experience
-
Work experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer or similar role plus
-
Hands-on experience with image editing and digital sketching software, like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
-
Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
-
Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects

Professional English is a requirement
-
Professional German (B1) is a Big Plus!

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
To support our internal team, we are looking for freelance Senior Industrial and Senior User Experience Designers that are happy to plug-in on a wide range of diverse and exciting projects. Remote work is possible, depending on the challenge at hand.

a demonstrated track-record in contributing to- and delivering world-class design as a freelance designer
-
great English communication skills
-
3-5 years of professional experience across all phases of the design process
-
comfortable in tackling the challenges of designing along mixed physical and digital user experiences
-
a natural collaborator and a great communicator with the ability to contribute, develop and present design ideas within a larger team environment
-
strong skills in the most common UXD ( Sketch, XD, CC, Figma, Invision, Framer etc.) and/or ID tools
